So…Cancelled or still hope for Season 5?

I heard the viewership went down for this season a lot. What are the odds we'll get a Season 5? I mean, with the time slot it has surely the writers and creators would realise that would spell potential cancellation for them unless they've agreed with the bosses to only do a certain number of seasons and then call it quits? It fills like Season 4 is gonna wrap a lot up character wise but a Season 5 would still be needed in order to wrap up all the remaining story loose ends while also finally tying into Infinity War too. Any official talks regarding this? It feels like they're gonna call it quits.

Last I heard it's the last season. I don't think we'll get a season 5 unless someone like Netflix/Amazon/Hulu picks it up.

Where did you hear that at?
With the advent of The Inhumans it would seem premature to pull the plug on AoS Season V just because of the cross-over potential and just retain the audience even though they won't be on the air simultaneously. I think.

Last episode had a 0.6 rating which afaik is terrible:

But that doesn't mean that there was a conversation amongst the powers that be that the show should be cancelled because of dwindling ratings and that a decision had been made that there was a ratings level that would trigger cancellation. Does it?

I hope that it gets one more season. I would not mind it being cancelled after Infinity Wars since that movie seems like a good place for the studio to start off fresh and retool their formula for a new generation of viewers.

It has changed and reads like a daytime soap opera. No wonder it is getting cancelled.
