Discuss The Walking Dead

I can't believe it, but they are trying to redeem Negan. And, they might succeed.

What would be intriguing is for him to remain in the cell, with the door left wide open, showing he has changed and wants to earn their trust. Then we're left to wonder if he could really be a team player, or when he'd slip and let it be known he hasn't changed one lick.

But, if he escapes and plans any kind of rebuilding of his Saviors thing, that will really suck. I tired of his shtick so long ago.

Well, he did escape. And he did return to his old yard. But times have changed, he's lost a step and, really, who has a chance in hell of surviving alone?

He actually arrives at that realization - but, will anyone else accept it?

Season 9 second half has started off with some compelling intrigue.

Well according to the comics, he was redeemable. I was really hoping that he would choose the better path for himself.

Judith Grimes had a lot to do with that. Furthermore, Neegan had nothing to go back to. Sanctuary was destroyed and all of its people relocated among the communities. The few that couldn't comply or adjust for whatever the reason was put out to survive on their own or killed for stirring the pot so everyone else could move on.

A king can't rein over a kingdom without land, people or subjects.

Surprisingly to me, I am liking the Whisperers storyline. Biggest problem is the bleeding of lead characters. We are now down to Tara as a leader. Tara and Daryl.
