Judging by your reply...you don't know what furor sounds like.

So you were simply trying to get a rise out of someone by using an offensive word...which is how I would describe it (especially out of context) as opposed to your description of a "very bad word" that wasn't at all necessary to convey your thoughts. You then go on to say that the character is stereotypical and racist. So you then use a racist word to describe him... a black man. Typical move of someone who is more likely than not racist himself.

Your explanation is weak and makes absolutely no sense. Even if the Morgan character was as you described...which it is not, your use of the word would still be unnecessary.

You might want to bear in mind that it matters not where the word is used. A post, a book or television speech. It will still be offensive. In the end, I guess that is of no consequence to you because all you're looking to do is offend so you can feel good. That is the only dissapointment.
