Two eps to go and zero indication of how this season will wind up. What will be the big shake-up or conclusion?? Or will there even be any such thing?
I can predict the obvious...
But what is in the big picture?? The helicopter lands?? We don't see who walks out but Rick or Negan does and... then next season!

I agree with you on Simon, but not Dwight.
I imagine they would "retire" him (ala Carol) rather than kill him off but who knows...he's definitely lost his mind (and his way) at this point.
Meh.
Not shot, IMO. I feel like Eugene has always been destined for reunification. In fact, his "adaptability"--slimy as it is at times--causes me to think he might worm his way to the end.
I presume the helicopter is definitely part of next season and I am assuming it is (another) outside group, whether it be government or otherwise. I definitely thought that the connection to the trash people and they dissonant lifestyles they appear to have lived (trashy and bizarre on the outside but pristine, minimalist and composed when inside private quarters) seem to indicate this connection to an outside, more structured group/government. I don't know why I feel that way, I just do.

I kind of have wanted to see Simon get his ever since he thumped Carl's hat. With Carl sadly dead, that desire has increased. And that group's name on the show is "the scavengers."

Sorry, but I'm in the camp of "have been longing to see Carl go." lol As to the hat thumping, that's as good a reason as any to want to see someone get it.
I prefer the appropriately applied moniker someone else used here on TMDB: "Garbage Pail Kids."
Again, never have been a fan of that goofy group.
