The entire sequence with that dork kicking Ezekiel around was utter garbage, I can't fathom how they thought it was worth casting, writing and shooting at all.
Except, it made his being split in half somewhat satisfying.
The whole episode deconstructs Ezekiel's "king" identity to him in very unsparing fashion. The parts where New Dahmer Boy brutalizes him are important, because Dahmer called him a "con man," I believe, and made him feel insignificant after the killing of so many of his people. The last straw in the ep is the killing by walkers of Ezekiel's pet tiger, Shiva. I just felt so bad for Shiva and Ezekiel when Ezekiel gave a groan while this happened. So you see, the sequence you had such a good time dissing actually had some dramatic value.
Fair enough! Thanks for this. I don't know everything, and voice my opinion while welcoming differing opinions of others who may show me things I may have missed, as you did here.

I'd feel bad too if I got my ass kicked by Jim Carrey.
