They all seem to have to moustache twirling voice whenever any of them need to speak. Morales was hilariously hokey, but I suppose that's the direction these dipshits decided to go, what with the laughable kingdom.

Forgot about the time differance. I think 2 years tops have occured on FTWD while 4? years have gone by on the TWD.

I hope they don't. One of the few small, interesting differences of FTWD from TWD for me, is that it takes place not long after the zombie plague has begun. The world is more broken down in TWD, which the show's makers have handled with varying degrees of verisimilitude.

Yeah, they all want to emulate Negan and his brand of anti-social demagoguery, essentially trying to out sneer each other. I gather the writers and other cast members like the actor playing Negan and the character Negan so don't want to kill him off any sooner than they have to. They have kind of softened his character a little, showing him display some affection toward Carl after he showed he has a big pair of balls.
But Negan has to be killed at some point, and they should not drag it out too long. Viewers don't like to see him escaping justice for the brutal killings and the mental torture he puts others through. I think fans will start getting pissed off if Maggie at least doesn't get the chance to torture and kill him.

Negan is still alive in the comics, so that's very unlikely to happen anytime soon.

OK, good to know. I have not read the comics. I suppose viewers won't get bent out of shape if Negan lives on in that case. I imagine lots of walking dead fans follow the comic book.
I noticed that when Carl had the chance to kill Negan he didn't go through with it, electing to talk to him instead. He shot the guys around him but talked to Negan, the guy he went there to kill, until he was disarmed by someone. It's clear they don't want to kill off Negan. And they have good reason to keep him alive. He gives them a lot of mileage, plenty of good material. People love to hate him and they tune in to see what dastardly thing he will do next. He told Rick he slid his dick down his throat and Rick thanked him for it. What a line. So they are happy to have Negan alive. I bet he lives for a while in the comics as well. But I hope at some point he gets killed.

SPOILER BELOW
I keep up with the comics somewhat well, and in the last one I read, Negan was still alive -- albeit exiled from Alexandria.
