Id like to start by apologizing for posting off topic, but this will probs get more attention than ftwd page. Here we go.

I had high hopes for ftwd. They had the perfect chance to show how everything collapsed, while having minor crossovers. We could have seen the cdc doctor from season 1, working with other doctors, scientists, military personel trying to figure it all out. Season 1 of ftwd should have been a 1 season show that showed this, the collapse of the govt, and military, ending with everyone dieing or going into survival mode. End of story.

Now, a proper spin off, shouldnt have shown another hot ass climate; as we have already seen that. Its not that i dont care about mexico or texas, its just weve seen how walkers deteriorate in heat. And with it being on the borders, theyve had to create a crossover to appease the fan base

Had the cast gone North, to the pacific north west, it would eliminate the desire to cross over, and shown many different elements. I want to see all four seasons. I want to see snow zombies that are frozen in the winter and thaw in the spring. I want to see people die from the elements. Going North destroys the nomadic style weve seen after so many seasons between these two shows. Settlements are required. Farming needs to be specific in time of year. It becomes a different survival show.

Or... they could have just stayed in the city and turn it into a different type of I am legend meets 28 days later without the running. Resources gathering is much more difficult and higher populations to deal with.
