Yea don't you remember her talking to Rick when they were stuck in the landfill. Rick and Michonne got away by blocking the walkers with a fridge door. Jadis was begging to go with them. They left her there and then she chopped up all the walkers.

She was having a perfectly normal conversation with Rick and saying she used to go to the Junkyard to find material to paint on....

On the last episode she even cleaned herself up and dressed like a normal human. Not to mention her living quarters are quite nice to say the least. I'm guessing everyone's rooms were pretty nice inside those hidden containers.

I guess I forgot about that scene, or was in the kitchen or something. So she is like the King, just using that act to give her followers some structure.

Her way of speech became perfect English when Rick and Michonne found her. So it's unlikely that she's uneducated. They simply wanted to be different.
