Maybe they need George Miller to give them a few pointers on post apocalyptic drama

I know they kinda were going for this with the Garbage Pail Kids having this wacky sub-society develop due to their separation from "society" but it was poorly done. But besides the imaginative weirdos Miller concocts in his films the action scenes are very exciting. Now I am not suggesting that TWD be a roller coaster, action scene after action scene, extravaganza but man the action scenes in season 7 were fkn abysmal. I know the show needs a lot of work with the story pacing, drama, and dialogue writing (Except for the "I lay with him" line. That was pretty funny) but hell, some exciting action scenes with some post apocalyptic weirdos can't hurt. Can it?
