Discuss The Walking Dead

Because he doesn't in the comic. He just locks Negan in a jail cell.

Hope not, Walking Dead’s divergence from the comics has only led to problems with the story.

I honestly think they should end the show after the Saviors war so yes they should kill him. Although I do like the death penalty, social issue leaving Negan alive brings up and the rift it causes between Maggie and Rick. Made for good drama.

Edit: yeah there will be a rift between Rick and Maggie. I don't know how that will happen in the show. They could kill off Negan but that leaves a huge part out of the current story in the comic.

Yeah I thought it was weird that Rick told Negan that he was gonna kill him one way or the other but that it WILL happen because that's not the outcome in the comic. Negan is still very much alive way after the conclusion of the war. So far Negan doesn't look like he's going anywhere. The guy is way too tough to kill.

I gotta catch up in the comics. Maybe I will do that tonight. I kinda wanted to just let TWD go after this disastrous season but I think the comics still deserve my attention.

I don't think so. Negan has been a polarizing character for the TV audience, but that would be such a significant departure from the comics, that I don't see it happening.
