Did I miss it? What was her deal with Negan? They were negotiating about 10 or 12 what?

It's tough but I know it's ten or twelve people. I don't know if she was talking about giving Negan twelve of her own people to him or of Rick's. Either way, she was sacrificing resources to save her folks but which resources, I can't figure out.

I cannot stand her. She's a devious liar who lives in a garbage dump. Rick is a fool for even trusting those people. It was obvious to me that they would turn on him.

Driven by desperation, a need for an army, he stumbled upon a group (well, they stumbled upon his) whom he thought they aren't the shining light he's hoping for but it's better than nothing, putting their attitude down to social skills comparable to having autism.
After all, he took a gamble with Dwight as well.

No, she was getting the 10/12 people from Negan (for what purpose? -have no idea). That was the deal for ratting out Rick's gang.

Maybe my aging memory is failing me but didn't Negan make the call for twelve and the autistic one call for ten?

I think she was wanting 12, and Negan argued down to 10, and that is what they agree on.
I hope we learn more about this trash folk community. Why do they talk the way they do? How did they form? Right now, the way they operate and communicate just doesn't make any sense. Rick should not have trusted them. If nothing else, their demand for so many guns up front should have been a massive red flag. I guess he was desperate, and given hope knowing that there are actually good people out there (like the Kingdom).

Yes. I've been wanting more nuance or depth to Negan. From what I've heard, this is done well in the comics. I think we got a sample of it when we learn that Negan hates rape and even killed his own man on the scene after catching him. The TV Negan has just been so one dimensional; I'd love to see some layers to the character.

Are you sure it was for Negan's people and not Rick's? Where is the dialogue that says it is for Negan's?
It is a huge risk to have 10 Negans infiltrate your camp.
