There were no clues that sasha was going to get killed. I said last week since she is going to be the major charcter on the new star trek show she won't be able to do both shows therefore..............they had to kill her off.

Yeah. It was the most closely guarded secret that everybody knew. Although I have to hand it to them, Sasha got a really great hero's death. It was well played. Probably the first time watching the show I've ever rooted for a walker.

@chrisjdel : That statement about rooting for a walker has been resonating all through social media. Sasha herself....or the actress who plays her said the same on Talking Dead.

Didn't watch Talking Dead last night. It's true though. I was sitting there rooting for her to bite another Savior; she got veggie guy, but I was hoping to see her come up behind at least one more of them and tear their throat out, blood spraying everywhere, before Negan took her down as she came at him again. I don't understand how she wandered away from the battle into the woods like that. But what she did after coming out of the casket, it was almost like she was still fighting for Alexandria because she only attacked Saviors.

Ok. You can claim your gold star to your teacher on monday.
No gold star for putting spoilers in the title of your post though. That just plain sucks.
Edit : she did not get killed, she committed suicide. That's why she asked Eugene for a way to kill herself and she's been holding on to the pills since then.

To be fair, the OP posted a day after the episode aired, so why should he have to put a disclaimer for spoilers in the title? I know if I haven't seen the episode, I stay away from message boards.
I don't think Sasha's original intent was to commit suicide. She was manipulating Eugene to get a weapon, I assumed she was going to cause more havoc on the Saviors or just Negan when given the chance. When he brought her the pill instead of the weapon she was clearly upset so she had to re-evaluate and then the plan to commit suicide came because she didn't have any other choice after that.

When she told Negan that yes, only one person has to die, I think that's the moment she decided to go ahead with it. She wasn't going to let herself be used as leverage against her own people.

Damn you chrisjdel! Get out of my head! You said exactly what I was about to post. This is freaky.

Yeah she started to get upset when she saw the poison pills... things went south for her, but she still managed to be a monkey wrench in the Saviors' plans. Also, the flashbacks with Abraham showed that she wasn't really over his murder.....

I stay away from the boards if I haven't seen the episode too, but if I do it's because people put spoilers in the title of their threads. I think it sucks.
For the rest... I don't know... I've seen that theory around here already, but I'm not sure I mean, if she had gotten any sort of weapon, there was no way she could have killed Negan without dragging Eugene down with her. Anyone with half a brain could have figured the weapon was coming from him.
What bugs me either way is that Negan gave her a knife to kill that rapist guy and she didn't use it either against Negan or herself... Why... ?

She wasn't ready to take that step yet. And Negan was very careful to remain in a position where he'd have the upper hand if Sasha came at him. I think right up until the conversation about Negan's plan to use her at Alexandria she clung to the hope of getting out alive. Maybe winning his trust and then, when he got complacent and allowed her a little more freedom, she'd slip away. But once it became clear she was going to be leverage to help Negan put his boot back on the necks of her friends, she was out of options.

I think she figured she would fail at killing him and she would still die in the process. I believe she was waiting for a better opportunity. She was never about killing herself until she saw that she ran out of viable options. She was trying to do her best to protect the people she loved.

Many of us thought she would die. It was common knowledge from the stories on the Web that she would be the star of the Star Trek series/

Not every body watches the show on "up to date" statuses. It's rude and ignorant to deliberately spoil.

I still don't think it was that big of a deal, but to each their own.
