What the hell were the writers doing this season? Did they really think this unbelievably lame gun battle would somehow make up for the rest of the season? I knew the finale would suck, because every finale of the walking dead sucks, the funny thing is tho, there always seems to be this huge build up and the payoff is always underwhelming. I'm not saying an astonishing finale would have salvaged this season, it would still be the worst season by a landslide, but at least it would have gotten me excited for season 8. This show sucks beyond belief, the writing is terrible, the directing is dull and laughably pretentious when they try and make aspects of it artsy. Everything the show does is so poorly executed, the humour, the action, the walker kills, the gore, everything it had going for it has ceased to exist. I feel bad for the fans who genuinely love this show, because the writers are more or less laughing to themselves behind the scenes that they put no effort into the scripts and we continue to watch.
