Discuti The Walking Dead

That was the best episode in a long time!!! They really pulled out all the shots!!! I was holding my breath thinking that Daryl was going to get shot when he was on top of whatever he was standing on at the end, while looking around!!!

It wasn't just the Kingdom that arrived. Hilltop was right on time too.

I understand how some might feel like quibbling with the nick-of-time save of Carl from Negan by the posse. However, don't be a killjoy. The writers probably just felt like pulling our strings with that save to get the biggest possible emotional response out of many of us. It's not against the law, you know?

You think I'm a killjoy? That hurts. 😞 I am not a killjoy! Take it back!

Bring a tissue, or 1000!!! It was an awesome talk!!!

I just caught it on DVR. Aww, Abraham surprised her and brought flowers. You can just feel the love amongst the cast members.

That was a good show!

Sonequa is moving on and leaving her real life husband to carry on with The Walking Dead family.

I actually SQUEED when Michael appeared on stage behind her!!!

I wonder if she or they felt any weirdness when having to kiss Abraham, knowing that her husband is on set.

That would give me butterflies.

Not sure what you were drinking or smoking while watching it but it was awful. Flashbacks to nonsense, predictable turnabouts (though the garbage people switching sides at the last minute was the only big surprise), and the vaunted forces of The Kingdom were about six people (and a horse) and Hilltop brought about ten! Hardly the army we had been assured would come together. And why? MONEY. AMC did not want to spend the bucks on a major extra pool so they shot and staged the big battle like a HS play about Valley Forge. Cheap, boring, complete failure compared to the show I started watching.

You just cracked me up!

Ha ha. I wasn't being super-critical with you or anything. I guess I was being...what's the term? Rhetorical.

I get that. I was having fun with you. You really tickled my funny bone.

Each to their own with how much this episode has entertained them but I have to wholeheartedly disagree with good writing and directing, etc. The writing has been absolutely rubbish. It was rubbish all season and they only improved slightly in this season finale.

There was still: 1) Too much fluff filler rubbish with Sasha's final moments in the coffin, flashing back to a cameo appearance by Abraham 2) Absolute crap about a tiger being so clever to know who was friend and who was foe 3) Gunfights within metres of one another but the opposing team were such crap shooters 4) Negan still having no issue with giving everyone the finger while the truck is being sprayed with bullets

I used to enjoy watching this series but this season has been ridiculously stretched thin. Thankfully, I record these things to watch them later and skim through the fluff, so I can get on with watching other shows which are more enthralling. But of course, I'm invested so heavily into this story that I can't just say that I'm done with TWD altogether and call it quits. I might take it one step further, as another viewer mentioned, and watch the first two episodes perhaps, then the mid-season finale, then repeat the process for the next half of the season. It would definitely be more efficient and if season eight is to be anything like season seven, I definitely will not have missed a thing.

You're almost as bad as JRiddle when picking out every flaw.

Not here to kill your buzz. If you enjoyed it, all the power to you. That said, you can't expect people to agree with everything you have to say. If we all agreed with each other, it would be a very boring world.

For what it's worth, all the filler was not a flaw. It was a massive screw up on the writers' part. Seriously, the story could've been told way more succinctly than that. Game of Thrones has way more elaborate story arcs that are told in much less time than what we experienced with season seven.

Actually agreements are fun. You should try it some time rather than being such an argumentative negative Nilly.
