Yes indeed that was a dam good episode, I was on the edge of my seat mostly.

Shiva the CGI tigeratacking was lame and so was the battle. It just seemed so cheap and disapointing. It had it's moments. I did laugh when Jadis said she lay with Rick when it's over. Carl being the frist to open fire got my "right on. " I enjoyed Maggie's end of episode monologue. It was nice to see Abraham again but it really was unnecessary. Overall it was a weak finale to an even weaker season. I didn't enjoy this season much. It had some great moments and a couple of amazing episodes but overall it was like pigs in a blanket. I felt underwelmed with the story telling. I hope they hire new writers for season 8. I feel like a troll lol! I am happy you enjoyed it but I kept checking the clock to see how far we were in it just dragged for me and the storytelling was weak in my opinion. Season 8 better be a dozy with all the set up season 7 did.

I know! I thought they would put that in this episode and end the war very quickly. We'll have to wait until next time. Hopefully. Lol

I was disappointed by the action scene. Not as cool or realistic as some war movie action scenes. I don't think they had the right consultants when they filmed that scene. And why on Earth did no one shoot the very large tiger that was eating everyone? I don't know, if I saw a tiger, I'd probably pet it too. He's so cute!

I loved how that extra got shot and then that extra we've never seen before got killed by a tiger, oh wow the suspense, extra after extra dying in a tragic gunfight.

This was one thing I did not enjoy at all. Perhaps I was still reeling from the underwhelming fight/conclusion/continuation, but it felt so preachy and cliche. Then pan to the pocket watch? No thanks.

I found it to be mostly satisfying, a good set up for next season. Problem is that it took WAY too long to get to this point. Most of the back half of this season was boring. I loved that Glenn and Abraham both got a final send off, of sorts.

I hated her monologue myself. That was the part that brought the finale down for me. It was cheesy and as you point out, preachy and clichéd. It almost felt like they didn't know what to do after all that war. However, I feel that the ep was at least somewhat well-written. They mixed it up as far as what happened to the female character whom Negan brings to Alexandria as a walker (Sasha's fate was based on hers). Good job. I really feel that deviating somewhat from what happens in the comicbooks is the smart way to go for them.

I enjoyed it. The part with the garbage people betraying them really pissed me off though. I can't stand that woman who is their leader! Ugh!

But yeah...good show!

You didn't predict anything, the episode was constructed right from the beginning for the kingdom to arrive last.

Come now, I'm not sure this is entirely fair - there were only 5 people in that Kingdom group after all so it was still a pretty decent effort scaring off both the saviours and the cabbage patch kids...

Plus I enjoyed how the tiger lept behind Mr Negan to take out the extra thus saving our pal for a potential third consecutive season finale where he might have a swipe at Carl. Great sports these Kingdomers!
