They end one episode with Sasha running mad dog right into enemy territory. They open the next episode with her locked in a cell. They only hinted at the fight through dialogue. A method that a lot of story tellers like to use, and is actually a recommended style taught to script writers. Being implicit is sometimes more appropriate than explicitly showing a scene. And in the old days, before digital technology, a lot of scenes were implicitly implied due to the lack of special effects technology. That's why I love older movies, because they focused more on story telling rather than flashy images and cool graphics.
Some people prefer explicit scenes. Like Lucas, who hated the fact that he had to skirt around showing certain images because he didn't have the technology to do so. And when he did, he decided to rape his movies by adding new technology into them. Asshole!
Anyways, before I digress to far into why Lucas is over rated, let's get back to TWD Sasha episode. Did you like the way they elaborated the battle scene between the Saviors and Sasha, or would you have preferred a more explicit scene that showed the fight between her and the other group?

I would have liked to see it. They spent so much time with Rosita wanting to kill Negan and then Rosita and Sasha talking and planning about taking out Negan in his compound along with their hating each other for them to not even show how Sasha was caught was lame. They have spent so much time on scenes that don't matter this season and not showing ones that do. I would have also liked to see Tara actually having the conversation with Rick about Oceanside but they skipped that too after building up Tara being conflicted on her big secret. Poor choice of writing on what to show and what not to. Did we really need a whole episode about Rick and Michonne and their feelings? That could have been done in half the time. I would have rather had an entire episode of Daryl and Maggie not talking to each other and tension before Maggie forgave him but we only got a whisper of that. That would have been a great episode with everything going on at Hilltop and building with Simon and Hate for Gregory. I would have loved to see more Kingdom and Carol but they welched on that too. Tara didn't need her bottle episode either. Really a whole episode of Oceanside conflict. It just reminded me of Season 2 and all the episodes of what to do with Randall but instead it was what to do with Tara.

I wanted to see the whole fight sequence because I'm a fan of action stuff.

it would have been nice with a season of really not much action and a lot of talking. It could have been a great scene.

They really do have an easy job. The sweat on the actors is probably sprayed on them with a misting spray. The CGI is getting worse as well. That deer looked completely fake. I'm starting to believe the criticism about AMC being cheap. Lol

Ray Harryhausen could have done a more believable job on Ezekiel's ridiculous tiger with a couple of lumps of clay and a few frames of stop-motion.

Oh I think the tiger looks awesome. Almost looks like the real thing. Almost.

It looks almost real but behaves as if it were suspended in an alternate dimension. There is no excuse for the deer at all.

NO I hated it. All that build up then we get nothing? It wasn't fair to the viewers in this instance. The entire plan between Sasha and Rosita was as if it didn't exist. WHY didn't we see the fruits of their labor, so to speak? Very sloppy.

That deer was literally the worst thing that I've ever seen. I was embarassed for the show. How could I recommend a show like this to people? But those nasty looking water zombies at Oceanside kind of redeemed the visual effects team so... I almost threw up looking at them.

Yes, the seafaring zombies were splendid! I thought the barnacles were a lovely touch.

Barnacles. Is that what that nasty stuff on their face was? Ewww! It looked like open sores or something.

I think maybe I might've seen some tunicates on some of the wetter ones.
