That was pretty messed up of Rick to leave those ladies defenseless. You need extra guns, fine. But to leave them with nothing but their cooch in their hands is indefensible. Rick is now a bonafide asshole.

You don't have to reply to anything I say. I haven't put anybody on ignore yet, although there are people I rarely if ever respond to. But if and when they say something worthy of a reply I haven't deprived myself of the ability to do so. My main problem with the writing (especially this season) is that they're dragging things out. The second half of season 7 should've been the war. The finale should've been the mid-season finale instead. Putting off most of the fighting until season 8 was a bad call imho. A lot of the flaws in the writing that people mention appear to be frustration with the slow pace, because they're nitpicks that probably wouldn't bother anyone if the plot was moving forward quickly. They need to recapture that sense of a show that's off and running every year and doesn't stop till it crosses the finish line.

Where do you get this? They specifically pointed out that Rick left them NOTHING. You say he could have been worse by attacking them and killing them but leaving them defenseless not only against other raiders but walkers as well is practically like killing them. Like I said, I understand Rick taking the guns but leaving them without any guns is inexcusable. There is no defending that decision. This is coming from a guy who just a few weeks ago bent over and gave up his own goddamn guns.

He left none of the guns that were in the arsenal. It seems unlikely they were all there though. At least a few must've been checked out at the time of the raid, and I'd be quite surprised if a handful of guns weren't officially on their inventory at all and stashed in various dwellings. They didn't go house to house ransacking like the Saviors. Maybe Rick saw that a few had been issued and simply didn't ask for those. All the viewers were shown was crates being loaded.

They made a point to let the audience know that they did not leave them shit. First Gabriel asks if we really need all these to which Rick replies, "Yes" . Then Tara confirms that they left them nothing when the little girl asks if they are going to leave them any at all and then Tara says "nope" . What more do you need? A scene with a government census taker walking around the camp showing you the full gun count? Sheesh. Even if they simply left them the few handguns a couple of them had stashed somewhere, to leave a camp full of women and children with a few guns is goddamn selfish and pretty fuckin' scummy. If you can't see that then there really is no point in discussing it with you however it makes a huge statement about your personality. It states that if you are involved in a cause that you feel is right, then all scruples are thrown by the wayside in order for you to complete your quest. I believe the word we are looking for here is selfishness.

If you haven't read the numerous comments I've made about people who murder random strangers, you clearly haven't been paying attention. You're right. From these particular folks I would not feel guilty stealing. And like I said, there are undoubtedly weapons in the personal possession of some of the Oceansiders. The little island they live on appears to be clear of walkers. They have occasional drifters (in the literal sense) washing up on the beach or staggering onshore, after being underwater milling around on the bottom for who knows how long. And now those bottom walkers have been largely cleared out too. All the explosions brought them up from the depths so zombie intruders in their camp will probably be nonexistant for a while. The only threat they really have to worry about are the Saviors themselves. And any scouting for new communities will be put on hold until the fighting ends. One thing's for sure: if Negan ever did locate them, all the guns they started out with wouldn't be a down payment on the firepower they'd need to stay alive.

I agree with you. This season is moving a bit too slow for my tastes even with the new material they've added. It's the same with the comic as well. Way too many issues dedicated to this particular war. I wanted to skip through some of it tbh. Most of the issues in March to War and All Out War were filler. What comes after is a little more interesting but The Whisperer War so far and All Out War aren't half as good as the war with The Governor at the prison in the comic books.

You are such a fkn ass dude. There are CHILDREN there. They don't have walls like Alexandria. It is not their fault their mommies are scared shitless and kill everyone that comes their way. There are more things to worry about than walkers. The Saviors aren't the last assholes on Earth. Quit replying, you only make yourself look more and more like an idiot.

Testy testy. Keep that temper under control Nazi guy, you'll burst a blood vessel or something. I already stated earlier what I'd do with the children and their families. Pay attention. You're the one who looks more and more like an idiot.

I don't care that Rick took all the guns. No body, not even the Saviors want a bunch of ladies. They are not worth raiding that camp. The real unreasonable one was the grandmother who told her tribe NOT to go with Rick to fight.

Why do they waste time and effort looking for Daryl? Because he crossed Negan. That's all. Just like those women were supposed to keep on working for the Saviors but they blew town. He'll make sure they pay for that, even if the expenditure of resources doesn't make a whole lot of sense from a strictly business perspective. Of course in the near term the Saviors are going to have bigger fish to fry. The Oceansiders have nothing to worry about unless Rick and his alliance ultimately lose.

No worries - all is well. You see, Granny Batania will soon enough be found dead thanks to that subdural hematoma inflicted by sweet Cyndie and all of our hapless Oceanside minnows will be tagging along with the Rick school of big fish and be rearmed in the battle against the Saviors.
