That was pretty messed up of Rick to leave those ladies defenseless. You need extra guns, fine. But to leave them with nothing but their cooch in their hands is indefensible. Rick is now a bonafide asshole.

There's a thin line between everything, and Rick's line between him becoming Negan is getting thinner and thinner by the episode....

Yeah, a little slice of paradise. At least crazy Morgan posted multiple warnings for people to turn back. I would've confiscated every weapon, and taken the kids over to the Kingdom (with an offer for their families to accompany them). A much healthier environment that has other children to play with and no adults teaching them murder is cool.

You should write that to Robert Kirkman because your opinion doesn't effect mine at all.

Just saying what I'd do. But if you want to keep sticking up for the future war crimes defendants, go right ahead. Far be it from me to introduce a sense of consistency and fairness to your thinking. The totally selfish are more virtuous than those who at least try doing the right thing most of the time. The impressionable kids are better off with adults teaching them it's alright to kill total strangers without even trying to talk to them. Sure. Whatever you say.

I really don't care. Why don't you write for the show and make Rick a better person? I like Rick from the comic, just not the tv version of him.

There are things he's done that I thought were pretty awful. But he's never completely given up trying to do what's right, even at his lowest points. And since season 5 he seems to have almost (but not quite) come full circle from where he started in season 1. His actions at Oceanside aren't ones I disagree with though. He's taking action to end the very threat they're hiding from. He has four other communities who are potentially open to massive retaliation at this point, just like the Oceansiders themselves, unless they defeat the Saviors. And he didn't kill a single person in getting those guns.
In his place, instead of the raid I would've settled for most of their guns and used the threat of reporting them to the Saviors to get them rather than launching an attack that might end badly for both sides. But his method worked perfectly. Can't argue with the results. Well, maybe you would but it's obvious you have an irrational disliking for Rick and wouldn't acknowledge his positive qualities no matter what he did. And you insist on seeing the Oceansiders as the victims in this situation no matter what they've done. There are still a handful of guns in their camp. As long as the Saviors don't find them, they'll be fine. And if that were to happen all their guns wouldn't be enough anyway.

Remember in season 5 and 6 when Rick started acting like Shane? Lol

You could stop at any time. But it pisses you off to be wrong, so you keep on trying to defend your indefensible position. Is that my fault?

But I don't think I'm wrong. It's an opinion. Do you know what an opinion is?

Some are right. Some are wrong. Some are neither. A few are just plain silly. And just like assholes, everybody's got one. Yeah. I know what opinions are.

Obviously not.
So you're very close to being placed on ignore. I've tried being nice to you but you keep going on and on about how I don't like Rick. It's been two days now. I can tell you right now that I have been watching this show for 7 years now. I've read the comic books and the novels. I also watch the spin off series as well as other things related to horror. I know what I'm talking about. I can separate fiction from reality.
The point that you are making is a moot opinion. Which means that it is only debateable. That's what you want. You want to argue an opinion about a stupid fucking antagonist ever created in the horror genre. I simply don't do petty arguments that are really about the writing. If you wanna discuss the writing, that's fine with me.
