Stray more from the comicbooks/graphic novels or whatever.
Keep the show going forever like how real soap operas are. We can watch them rebuilt soceity. The focus of the show will be about how humanity rebuilts after the apocalypse. Eventually Rick and some major characters will be killed and the show can continue with all new characters. It's like what Maggie told that guy who was planting. She said that they needed to start thinking about the future 90 years from now. That's what having children does. It changes your perspective on life.
We fans can discuss the show forever and reminisce about stuff that happened in previous seasons.
We've got two requests to cancel it
One to kill off everyone and start over
One to make it even more like I soap opera (I hope that that person was being sarcastic)
One to pick up the pace
And one to make it less like the comic book.
So, so far the two requests to just cancel it are winning.
To be honest if it were cancelled I wouldn't mind as it has become so boring I can't believe that i am still watching it in the hopes that it gets better...

It's not a bad idea to keep it going like a soap, that's better than it trying to be a dynamic series for 10+ years.
Absolutely. I also want them out of that area. just get them the f**k out! I am sick of the same terrain, same weather ,same everything for seven years.
This! And cut the episodes down to 10. Too much filler.
I actually like that they have avoided the silly trend of 10 episodes but you gotta have substance in them!
The problem is, they don't have the substance. I've noticed half the season ends up being pointless. If they have the material to fill all 16 episodes, sure go for it but they don't

I think practically the entire season was pointless and horribly written. I'm switching to Netflix and I just removed it from my DVR schedule. I'm still interested what happens in the main plot but don't have the patience to sit through 8 episodes of BS to see progress. I will just wait for a full season and then just FF through the boring parts. It's a shame really. This show went from me stopping everything I was doing to watch it live and then rewatching the episode again during the week to barely finishing an episode before the next one came out.
I completely agree with you. I couldn't wait for Sunday nights. Now, I find myself scrolling through my phone while the shows on and I hate that. Shit, we even build a Walking Dead website (which thankfully, we sold a few years back). I'm also pretty much caught up on the comics. From now on, I'm just going to wait until the first 8 episodes air, watch them and then wait the couple months when it comes back from break and binge the remaining after it ends.

That's probably the smarter way to go. I may follow suit on that idea. I'm also a comic reader as well but I am not caught up. I am up to the part where the skin wearers pretty much declared war by killing a whole bunch of beloved characters that are currently alive in the show.
