BTW that ep kicked my butt a little. But anyway, that smile she made in her cell made me cringe. And what's with her calling Rick Negan's "bitch?" The horror.

What do you guys think.

I enjoyed it. She's cracking.

Also, I feel like she gave her two weeks notice last episode and they threw her into this silly story now.

It was a plan to show that Rick was still Negan's bitch, cause if Sasha fails, Rick will not.

I thought she was trying to trick Eugene into providing her with some type of weapon, thinking she will use it to commit suicide while she will actually use it against Negan if she ever gets an opportunity. When he provided her the poison pill, I think she was expressing disappointment because it will be very difficult to find an opportunity to drug Negan.

I don't think it's all that silly. It's from the comics. It seems a bit forced because a lot of people did not really buy her being with Abraham and because they had to change the storyline a bit, but Holly/Sasha going in on her own to try to kill Negan is part of the original storyline. Plus if it goes as I think it will it will lead to a nice follow-up. Although I think what's not working so well right now really is the fact that this character is just empty to begin with. I never liked her, I think she's bland and her character psychology is just non-existent, so everything she does just seems off anyhow.

That was clear enough. She wanted to make Negan think she was a lone wolf on this assassination attempt, so she calls Rick a "bitch" to demonstrate her disgust with Rick's capitulation.

Her whole plan was "cracked" up from the get go. Not the thinking of a rational mind. For her to spend one night in a dark room, albeit with a soon to be walker, and break made no sense. Daryl spent weeks and never broke. So she was either BSing Negan (who has to be the most gullible cult leader ever to think she'd capitulate so quickly) or she was done with it all and chose to take herself out somehow (not foreseeing Eugene's aid in that) rather than Negan kill her. Eugene said it when after giving her the pill, "I don't want you to go but I can tell you are already gone" or something to that effect.

Right, well, when I saw Talking Dead later, Sonequa Martin-Green explained that for me.

Didn't you notice how she was smirking on the other side of the door while talking to Eugene? And then the frustration on her face when the potential weapon she was expecting turned out to be a pill? She wanted something she could use to attack Negan when he returned; a gun, a knife, a shard of glass, anything would do. Shoving a pill down someone's throat and making sure they keep it down is no easy task, even without bodyguards to deal with. So I'm sure she's busy rethinking things. I agree that her plan was impulsive and harebrained. She didn't break from one night in the hole though, and I don't think Negan really believes she has ... yet. Don't worry, Easy Street is coming!
