TWD has slowly become a show that is somewhat irritating to watch. I say this because each episode often only focuses on a small set of characters instead of the story or characters as a whole. Because of this, we could go half a season and only cover a period of a couple days. While these bottle episodes could be used effectively, they shouldn't be the norm. It's frustrating to wait a whole other week just to again wait for the plot to be moved along. Character development is great but the writers too often neglect the plot. TWD format seems to now be a show that would be really great to binge watch but frustrating to watch once a week.

I still like the show and holding out for now, but I'm getting closer and closer to sitting out a season to binge it afterwards.
