I really liked it...except for their attempt at manipulating us by leading us to think that Rick had been killed and devoured by walkers, it was really intelligent & engaging. One of my favorite parts was when the leader of the junkyard people (I think her name is Kandis?) said that there weren't enough guns to cover the deal: this kept things from being too easy for Rick and company, I think. And speaking of company, how about that Rosita? She is just stunning to look at, but grating to listen to. Her plan to take out Negan with just Sasha is unbelievably dumb.....

If I had to describe it in one word, I'd say: Boring.
Other than that, can someone tell me on what planet do we have fully armed soldiers at a Carnival? Was that Carnival in Stalin-Era Russia or something? Because, WTF? None of this episode made any sense other than it being a love story between Rick and Michonne.

Go to your account settings and disable profanity filtering. They should have that option disabled by default in my opinion, but ...

Yeah but it will still be censored for most people.
Not yet in the tv show, he basically spoiled the next likely villain.

Thank you! I had no idea that was an option! Like you said , they should have that disabled by default.

I knew it was the deer. Most people probably did, it's Michonne who couldn't know because she never saw the deer. Her reaction to thinking Rick had been killed was the whole point of that scene. I don't know why they felt the need to use a fake CGI deer. There are captive raised animals they use for movie scenes (which is why they're not frightened of humans). It's not like Shiva the tiger. A cranky deer can't rip your head off.

I also just wanted to say about last night's episode...I would have cleared all those walkers out of that place and then slid down that slide a couple of times just for the hell of it. I can't be alone in that thought. lol

If we were on IMDb, I'd use the "laughing" emoji right now.

I liked it. Overall, I think these slower episodes are better than the slower episodes of past seasons. It was really great watching Richonne do their thing and have some sexy time.
I think the fake-out over Rick's death had more to do with faking out Michonne than the audience. That whole moment was really about her reaction. Also it was totally a nod to Glenn's fake-out death last year.
Speaking of nods to past episodes, there were a number of times that I was reminded of scenes from past seasons and episodes. Falling through the roof reminded me of when the roof fell through in the department store in season 4. Coming through the top of the car reminded me of Rick escaping the tank in season 1. The deer reminded me of Carl getting shot in season 2. These are just the ones that came to the top of my head randomly just now, I'm sure there are more.

Right: Rosita is in the comics, Sasha is not. Ppl have been saying that Sasha might get another comicbook character's death.
