We don't usually see them eating meals either. And no long sequences of people sleeping. All for the same reason they "never use the bathroom", because anyone with more imagination than a snail realizes these things must be happening and don't need to take up screen time. Do you really want to watch someone take a shit? Don't answer that. I'd probably rather not know.
