I don't have a favorite character anymore because it was Shane. Every season has a character that I really like for that season. Season 1-2 was Shane.
Season 3-4 was Michonne, Andrea and Merle
Seasons 5 was Rick and Carol
Season 6 was Bob and Sasha
Season 7 probably Father Gabriel because he's not written as a moron like the rest of the cast.

I liked Shane too! But I hated
First season Shane. Whatever season they were at the farm:Daryl Then I didn't really have a favorite until Tyreese Now I like Tobin
I'm interested in negan's relationship with Carl but I don't really like either of them

Season 2 was the farm. I remember Daryl was completely different back then. His character arc has changed drastically. He now fits in. At first Daryl was kind of an outsider that basically was judging everyone else's behavior. He didn't consider himself as part of the group. They were just a group that he found safety within. Tyreese is another character who was an outsider. Tobin is a desenter. So it seems we have something in common. We like characters that are practical.
I don't like Negan anymore either. The actor is nothing like the comic book character that I sort of like now.. And Carl is just a spoiled brat whereas the way he was at the beginning of season 4 was like how he is in the comic book character. And actually some of the gripes JRiddle has with the way the characters are always changing to suit whatever plot being forced upon us is fairly accurate.

That was definitely when Daryl was the most interesting, just trying to figure out where he belonged. I thought they'd keep developing his character but they haven't. He's such a fan favorite that I think they're hesitant to make any decisions about him now so he's just an overpaid extra.
I thought tyreese had a really big heart. And I liked when the guy from terminus asked about his relationship with Judith, he said that she was his friend. Tyrreese was awesome. I don't know how he is in the comics but I thought they killed him way too soon and in a really lame way.
I definitely like practical character s. It's hard to root for stupid people.
The jriddle thing is spot on too. Only a few people's progression makes sense. It makes the whole show even more unbelievable and more difficult to connect to.

Tyreese was a good guy. The kind that "liked saving babies." There aren't many of those left.
I was so looking forward to picking my teeth with his (sharpened) phalanx after dining on his duodenum.

Those baby saving people are good people.
So you use every piece? That's very respectful. I don't know why they got so uppity about it

@Beetweenboards
That's very sweet of you to say. It is respectful, yes, but resourcefulness - in any form - is also paramount to survival.
That's why I always had a leg up on Gareth. Then again, I ate people even before the apocalypse. I never told him that, but I think he suspected it anyway. He saw it in my eyes, and he saw it in my technique. A calvaria makes a passable cereal bowl, but a fantastic jock-strap. Never a fan of waste, I'd often use one as both, which needless to say resulted in some very questionable tasting cereal.
You see, I used to go to church every single Sunday, which is interestingly what gave me my start in this crazy business. Don't get me wrong, I was never religious, but fuck me if Pastor Boyd's wife wasn't the hottest piece of ass in all of Atlanta. One night after everyone else had gone, I knocked her unconscious and had my way with her in one of the chapel's back office spaces. Was that blood pouring out of her head? Whoops. Panic set in and I realized the only feasible way to dispose of the body in a manner that ensured I wouldn't be caught was to eat her.
Long story short, I turned that skank into mulch. Served her to the neighbors over the course of several weeks and countless dinners. Spaghetti Mondays were a crowd favorite, as was Chicken Parm Thursdays. In any case, Italian was definitely the way to go. You might want to write that down.
When I wasn't getting rid of her fast enough I became more desperate and 'sloppy' in my meal planning; which brings us back to cereal. Ended up serving her to the Johnson's one morning. "Intestine-o's," I believe I called them - but I digress.
The point is, I really appreciate your comment, and I hope we can become friends.

Lol I think the idea of a talking zombie is a scary one kind of like the ones in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

[yes] I've heard a lot of cannibals start that way. It's a small step from eating the body of Christ for communion to eating the body of Chris for consumption.
Intestine-os sound like they'd be a big hit with the kids and young folks not as kitchen say for the Italian cuisine.
We'll definitely be come fast friends. I just know it!
