Rick handed to Michonne...did I miss an episode or forgot about it? She lost something similar? Did she have a pet cat in her flashback? lol
There was the episode in Season 3 Episode 12 named Clear. It was when Rick, Michonne, and Carl went back to Rick's home town and found Morgan. At the end Michonne found a cat statue. Not sure what happened to it, but that was what Rick was referring to.

It was a reference to Michonne losing her virginity.
