No, the actress had a baby but not her character. How about Olivia? She shouldn't have been as heavy as she was. Not anymore at least. Being that overweight so late into the ZA means you're either hoarding food or taking more than your share from the pantry. Not going to make you very popular. In fact, it's a good way to get your ass kicked in a situation like the one in Alexandria. Back in the glory days of the big studios they probably could force an actor to go on a crash diet and lose lots of weight, but they certainly can't do it now. Think of this as just another suspension of disbelief. Like the fact that high school "kids" on TV are usually about 25 or 30.

Actually that's not true. The myths about obesity need to end. There are many overweight people who eat far less than we do. It's not even just about metabolism. It's about the ability to absorb nutrients. There will be fat people in the zombie apocalypse. If it was really just about cutting calories, there would be very few obese people, just like there used to be very few obese people prior to WW2, even in times of plenty.

The actress, Alanna Masterson, recently posted a picture on Instagram that made it look like she had lost a lot of weight since filming of Season 7 rapped, so expect Tara to have a sudden weight loss when Season 8 rolls around (that is, if Tara is still around by then).
