Maybe after the apocalypse, chins are marks of beauty. The more the better.
It could happen. If they change anything, stopping the stigmatizing of fat would be awesome.
This is another of those foolish complaints you hear over and over again. Yes, people living in a post-apocalyptic world would likely be on the skinny side, if not gaunt and malnourished. But they're not going to force unhealthy amounts of weight loss on their actors just to make it more realistic. Alanna has been noticeably dropping pounds since she gave birth. Like Kay_Rock said, she's thankfully not gone on an insane starvation diet to get back into her old jeans right away. She'll get there. The whole Scientology thing though, I feel sorry for the kid if she doesn't bail out of that shit. Don't have time to join a crazy cult and get involved in a pyramid scheme? Join the church that's both! Tom Cruise will thank you. For a generous enough donation, he might even come and dance on your couch!
A baby will do that some to women. I do admit though, within the context of the series it doesn't make a whole lot of sense considering she got separated from the main group and then god knows what during that period (other than meeting the rest of that village full of women).

No, the actress had a baby but not her character. How about Olivia? She shouldn't have been as heavy as she was. Not anymore at least. Being that overweight so late into the ZA means you're either hoarding food or taking more than your share from the pantry. Not going to make you very popular. In fact, it's a good way to get your ass kicked in a situation like the one in Alexandria. Back in the glory days of the big studios they probably could force an actor to go on a crash diet and lose lots of weight, but they certainly can't do it now. Think of this as just another suspension of disbelief. Like the fact that high school "kids" on TV are usually about 25 or 30.
I really do not care about Tara at all, but I noticed she seems thinner than in the Oceanside episode. her acting abilities are unfortunately bad. She used to be good the time she was with The Governor.
I actually thought she'd lost a few since her solo episode during the first half of the season. That's when she was at her heaviest post-pregnancy weight.

She gave birth rather recently, like in the past year or so?

I think she's eating Tara one bite at a time. Tara keeps getting skinnier.
But yes, she had a baby. Baby's are body killers. I'm glad she didn't go on an insane starvation diet.

Olivia was in charge of the vittles so you know she was taking extra Debbie snacks and twinkies for herself.

Yeah, they do seem pretty meh. I heard she's a Scientologist. Maybe that has something to do with it. (j/k

It was actually awkward watching her try to fight in the last episode, why do they take her on missions anyway?
