Just unreal. What a travesty.

I had read someone's post that speculated the boards would shut down at midnight PST - I had expected one last night - but nope, GMT. :(

Are there any board similar to imdb's? This one seems pretty dead and a guilty pleasure is reading and posting about TWD & laughing my butt off at some of the responses.

It sucks, but between trolls and show finale thread "explosions" IMDb couldn't keep up. They need more bandwidth to stop all the outages when their systems overloaded. Hopefully they can retool and come back stronger.

This site appears to be the only one replicating IMDb's formula for success. I personally hope for this one to grow big.

Yes, most of the replica boards showing up are really only interested in replicating the general boards. I couldn't care less about the general boards. Always found them ridiculous.

I'm devasted by this loss, but if we all just jump in and start posting here we can build this up to be every bit as good, if not better.

Agreed, we need more contributors though to fill the voids that are missing compared to IMDb.

I think after today we'll see an influx. Most of the other boards are discussing this one as the gold standard.

Well, I waited until the very end to make a move, I can't be the only one. I looked at a few of the alt boards and liked this layout the best. The other ones look like generic boards from the early 2000s. Anyways, forums after TWD is so much better than the aftershow. I just hope traffic picks up.

There is a Walking Dead message board on reddit. It has a lot of information but their layout is horrible and very confusing to someone who does use reddit very often.

I hadn't logged into IMDB in over a month. I just checked it out yesterday and found out the board was shutting down. Shocked! So glad I was able to get the info on this site
