True, but I'm at the point that I want the show to start moving towards a conclusion. I just don't see the show getting there with the almost constant introduction of new bad people. I really don't see the show having that many more seasons.
I am too! Let's end this thing! It's too bad that many programs won't quit while they're ahead, and a huge franchise like this sure won't. One of my pet peeves are so-called limited series (TWD was never advertised as such) that go on for years, like The Strain. I thought that was going to get tied up in a neat little bow at the end of the first season.
I was a big fan but really has become so repetitive and silly in my opinion.
After Glenn and Abe, two of my favorite characters, got killed off brutally in the season's first episode, I wanted to quit. I seriously considered it. I hadn't been watching for very long before that point, though...about 2 whole seasons in full, and a handful of quick looks here and there preceding that. I guess I'm a bigger fan than I thought I was. Also, the show fulfills something for me by being Sunday night viewing. I was raised to think of Sunday as such a "wholesome" day -- the Lord's day. TWD just squats all over that stuff in terms of content: murder, violence, gore, still more gore.

I think this was a turning point for me as well, especially with no actual resolution/revenge! The episode right after when he took Rick off in the RV really made me angry. If they don't wrap it up soon, I just don't know. It has not been the fun it once was, that is for sure.

I like a short well done series as well. So many shows, sometimes it starts to feel like homework to commit to a new show.

It's even more annoying when you get excited about a show and it's good, but it gets canceled anyway.

Ha! Isn't that the truth? The beauty of On Demand is I can vet the new shows on Amazon/Rotten Tomatoes/Netflix before I commit to watching.

Agreed. Deadwood is my heartbreaking example of that..........
