So went over to IMDb and posted a few links to this site on several active threads. Lets see what happens. And... it's true... a lot and I mean a lot of the threads there are pure garbage. Sex with the dead etc.
Let's make the trolls and idiots that do come here among the good posters feel unwanted. It's nice to have a new home.

Hi, I just saw the message in IMDB and signed in here. The excessive trolling was making it impossible to read anything in those boards and that is why IMDB is pulling the plug on them. I am looking forward to have good exchanges of opinions about my favorite shows and movies. Cheers!

My concern is that the trolls will come. If they do...I hope TMDb has a way of controlling them or weeding them out.

We can deal with trolls. Ignore and report. No food or shelter will kill them in the end. IMDb had no monitors and everyone became apathetic.

My ignore list from the IMDB board was a mile long thanks to The Walking Dead board. That was ridiculous. I'm sure they'll try to find their way here but I hope this site has better moderation.

My hope is all the trolls will go to IMDb2. I checked it out before coming here and it was full of idiots and 14 year old minds.

it´s a pain though. in real life you would just bitch slap them and move on laughing cause lets face it, 99% of trolls are people that lack control/importance/"strength" in real life , but on the internet it´s harder to deal with them...

Well, as of yet, there is no Ignore or Report Button. But It's being worked on. Honestly, without the 6.5 million people per month, I don't think the trolls will have anything to feed to them here.

I'm sure that over time, this site will increase greatly with newcomers.
In the meantime, I'm going to appreciate and enjoy the intimacy of a site that isn't over populated. So far, this site has delivered and responded to my needs. 👍❤💋

The site really does get better almost daily. They've been very accommodating to this influx of new members. There are bound to be plenty more.

its also sad that imdb gave more importance to trolls than to the devout users. so many features we needed there...
