Sadly, I'm thinking the same. However, I hope I'm wrong and that he turns out to be a badass. Never read the comics...so I don't know.
The character doesn't exist in the comics. The writing has gotten so predicable which is why I am seeing this coming from a mile away. The main sign that he is doomed to eat it is that there is some character development with him but not a whole lot. The King is having trouble backing Rick and crew because he is concerned about the suffering his people (fits in with comic narrative BTW) will endure. Who, but the son of a man he highly respected (and has taken him under his wing) would be a better character to snatch away to exasperate the King's suffering?
I'm still pissed they came up with Richonne. The King and Michonne were such a great couple in the comics.
Get outta here! Ezekiel and Michonne were a couple in the comics?! What! 😯
I like the Rick & Michonne hook up. I also like the possibility of Ezekiel & Carol as a thing.
I agree with your comment about the boy and that the loss of him would definitely cause Ezekiel to further ponder his decision about a war. Still, I want to see the boy (damn...what is his name) become a badass before having to go out. I want him to RAGE against the dying of the light! 😡

Yes, she was good for him too because the King would sometimes get a little carried away with his royalty shit and Michonne was always there to put him in his place when his head started to swell. In the comics Rick is with Andrea who is nowhere near as annoying as the Andrea in the TV show and was more like Sasha in the sense that she was dependable in a fight and is a deadeye sharp shooter. Although I thought the King and Michonne was a good coupling and same with Rick and Andrea, the comics had some really bizarre couplings. Before Dale died, he and Andrea were a couple (Yes old man Dale with the fishing hat and RV) and after Abraham dies Eugene and Rosita get together. I guess they wanted to emphasize the slim pickin's concept in the apocalypse. I guess you can say Glenn and Maggie were kinda the same thing.

Thanks Travis!
Yeah, when I hit the quotes icon it places your comment above mine. Is that how it's supposed to work? I guess I'll find out when I hit submit. Here goes. If it doesn't work, I'm just plain stupid. 😩
Looks like his name is Benjamin, and I think he will be heroic but they will lose him. I think he will help a lot in the fight, maybe save lives because of his selflessness (more sacrifice than skill), but will go down with honor, a hero.
Now, about Simon's "dip and tip" stance, he looks like he's copying Negan........

Ahh yes! Benjamin. Thanks.

@movie_nazi,
Maybe that will be the case with Carol and Ezekiel.
OT Question: How do you use the quotes feature? Trying to figure it out.

He's the tall, lanky guy with the moustache that came to Alexandria looking for Daryl at the end of the last episode.
I think Simon Says Rick's name the same as Negan too. "Rrrrrick" like a total smart ass. I don't like him lol.
