Did anyone else think her arrival on Drogon was a bit anti-climatic? I think a lot of us had expected her to do this to impress upon Cersei that she controls these powerful creatures. But we've already seen her do this several times already so the scene didn't seem all that effective to me.

I totally agree and noticed it right away, too.
I was somewhat glad that at least the looks on Cersei's and Euron's faces were a little more astonished than the Lannister army when they first saw them in Spoils of War.

You're right. Cersei and Euron did seem more astonished than scared though Jamie looked like he's suffering from PTSD.

I really wouldn't have expected her to arrive in any other way. I didn't find it anti-climatic. I'm always quite impressed with those dragons...

Well it was impressive but its just we already saw Danny arriving back at Dragonstone after roasting the Lannisters and then arriving north of the Wall to save Jon Snow and crew. As a viewer, the third time just didn't have quite the same thrill.

Those were some sturdy sun shades they had built up on that podium. Too bad.

WE'VE seen it but Cersei hasn't. The demonstration was targeted at her.
