It's very easy to say "I would have let them kill me before I betrayed my family", but not everyone is as strong-willed as Arya. Sansa was then weak, timid and passive, and innocently thought it would save her father. Is it fair of Arya to pass such judgement? Refusal would have hardly improved Ned's position. What else could Sansa have done, try to free him by force?

Full disclosure, Arya's my favorite so I'm going to take her side and say no, but having just rewatched the first season these two sisters have always been at odds. When Joffrey attacked Arya's friend and Sansa took his side instead of her sister's, that hurt Arya. Sansa chose that little prick over her own sister. Sansa couldn't wait to marry Joffrey and "give him many sons".
From Arya's perspective, the Lannisters (Joffrey and Cersei in particular) are responsible for the deaths of Arya's friend, her father, her brother, her mother, and her sword instructor and then she finds a letter of Sansa taking their side against Ned. And now Sansa's taking council from Littlefinger who Arya knows did business with the Lannisters during Robb's rebellion.
If I were Arya the only thing stopping me from adding Sansa to the list is that they're sisters. No, she didn't judge Sansa too harshly. If anything Sansa got off light.

I'm assuming you're talking about an episode that hasn't actually been aired yet.. probably deserved a spoiler warning.

Yes unaired, but the post gives up absolutely nothing that we don't already know. The tension between the two has been at an all time high, that conversation in the episode was nothing in comparison to it's other elements.

Ye maybe she did judge her too harsly, but sansa was a stupid little bitch when she was younger, arya should maybe take the time to see that she has grown as a person and isnt a stupid little bitch anymore.
Arya is obviously getting played by littlefinger atm, he is trying to drive a wedge between the two sisters and it seems to be working

Yeah Arya is a hypocrite and was very judgemental toward her sister. Arya seems to forget that she did nothing to stop their father being executed. Arya allowed The Hound to hide her and smuggle her out of the city. Arya didn't have to allow the hound to do that. Arya didn't have to stay with the Hound all those months before Brienne rescued her.

What are you talking about?! Arya did not see the Hound ever since he killed the butcher's son until much later - at the inn where she and her friends encountered the Brotherhood. The Hound had absolutely nothing to do with smuggling Arya out of KL.

You are right. Since the internet is flooded with that episode, I was under the false impression everyone has already seen it. Next time I'll put a spoiler warning.

I disagree with this on the basis that Arya actually managed to escape being captured by the Lannisters and wasn't their pawn or later the pawn of Little Finger. And unlike Sansa, Arya was never in a position wear she could have chosen not to pen that letter denouncing Ned. I just imagine that, had Arya been capture by the Lannisters, she would have at least ATTEMPTED to escape. The Hound even offers to sneak Sansa out of the red keep during Stannis's attack and she declines because she's a coward.
I know Sansa wasn't in the easiest position but I disliked her for a really long time because she never seemed to make any attempt to change her situation. I can't even really give Sansa credit for helping during Battle of the Bastards because I'm pretty sure that was mostly Littlefinger. She always seems to just let herself be led around by those around her. Meanwhile Arya is a self made woman who has actually shed blood and avenged her dead family members by destroying the Freys.
I'm just saying if Sansa gets killed off I won't be that broken up about it.

☝️ All of the above word for word, this keeps happening whenever I read threads here and I sure don't recall it happening very much at all on IMDb, there is quite a solid base of users here, smaller but much more quality posts and hardly any BS. Anyway that's all, it was worth saying instead of repeating cswood's exact sentiment.

Even though Aryra doesn't know the full story of what Sansa went through she did make some good points.

It was Yoren, and he didn't ask for Arya's permission. He grabbed her and took her away from the city by force.

To be fair, Cersei did very much intend to honor Sansa's agreement to write the letter and spare Ned Stark's life. Cersei just over estimated how much control she had on her son.

Yes. Thought Arya was smarter than to be played by Littlefinger so it's a bit disappointing to see her act out some psycho sister complex (like Marcia Marcia lol) like just focus on your list or train Podrick or something. Obv Bran knows what's going on, is he just watching like us?
They both went through hell to get where they are now. This would be resolved if the sisters have a slumber party (invite Brienne too) so I'm really hoping this will backfire to Littlefinger or turn into something interesting. Plus that bag with the faces, how silly looking to keep it that way...removes the mystery & wow element.
