SPOILER ALERT

1 walker to show Cersei > 2 dead warriors, Viserion, wounded Jon Snow, Viserion coming back as an enemy, uncle benjen

Couldn't they have come up with a better plan? that's one of the worst deals I've ever seen. Couldn't one of them just communicate with Cersei and convince her, or at least try? Or were the writers that desperate to come up with another exciting action scene, however illogical?

Cersei isnt an easy person to convince, but yea it was a stupid fucking plan, why send like all of your most important warriors out when any random warrior would have done fine

Not saying I agree 100% with their plan, but of the people who went Jon was really the only important one and his reasons for going made sense. Everyone else either went because they had a vision or because they knew how dangerous the walker threat is. Bringing a walker back as proof seems kind of silly, but really, how else are you going to convince someone that zombies are real outside of presenting one?

The bigger question is, will Cersei even care? And even if she agrees to the alliance she is not to be trusted. She will just pretend to be on their side until she can double cross them the first chance she gets.

They need to regroup at Winterfell and fly Arya back a few miles outside Kings Landing and task her with infiltrating the palace and killing Cersei. In the chaos Dany takes the throne and she and Jon fight the walkers without worrying about Cersei.

I haven't seen the episode yet but I'm confused by the summary of the hacked version.

So: Danny is skeptical of the zombie story, and so is Cirsei, so they go off to capture a specimen. Then Gendry (whom Danny scarcely knows) comes back and says the expedition is danger. Danny-the-Skeptic believes HIS story immediately and goes north with all 3 of her "children". If she was that willing to go north, why didn't she go with the expedition in the first place, all riding a formidable dragon instead of marching into the arctic on foot?

The question is, who except Bran trusts Arya? Of course we, the audience, know her back story. I would think, to everybody else, Arya disappeared for several years and then came back talking about let's-behead-people and I-have-lots-of-faces and I-avenged-the-Red-Wedding-all-by-my-little-self. They probably think that the poor kid has gone loony under all the stress.

But Jon would trust her. He's a pretty good judge of character. Besides has she told anyone that she massacred the Freys? The fact she was able to pull that off single handedly should be proof enough that she's a total badass. But my guess is Arya will not be the one to kill Cersei, they'll want to stick to the prophecy and have it be Jamie or Tyrion.

I have gotta say that i am surprised that no one has even mentioned the freys surely it would be hot gossip all around the 7 kingdoms by now? and wouldnt there be some talk about who controls the freys land aswell? tbh im not even sure who owns the riverlands now , its hard to keep up :p

Exactly. I had joked that Jon could recruit Bronn to his side by offering him the twins lol

Exactly. Cersei won't care, she just wants control of Westeros. She genuinely doesn't care if she is just Queen of the Ashes.

Even if they were to show her the wight, she wouldn't commit any of her own army to fight them, she'd be glad they are coming to destroy everyone else. If she can't be queen, she'd just as soon see the entire populace dead.

Davos (rather than Gendry) probably sent the letter, and she knows him.

She probably didn't go because she still didn't believe the stories about the White Walkers. She said she had to see it for herself. Now that she saw it, she will fight alongside Jon.

Losing a dragon a big lost for Daenerys especially with it now being used by the Night's King. And for what? You can't make a deal with Cersei. Like others have said here, she'll scheme behind your back and will whatever "deal" you come up with to her advantage.

Granted, she's on Jon's side now and vice-versa but it's an awfully high price. Cersei is just going to see Daenerys as being weaker now with one less dragon.

An AWFULLY high price, but for such a pitiful plan they're lucky anyone came back. Once I saw the three dragons there and how easily they were burning up the Whites I thought no, this isn't good because the story couldn't afford such a power flip against the Whites. It would have been such a wasted build up of their threat just for Dany to swoop in and totally dominate and burn all the walkers. Now it's truly on, they have Giants, a dragon that can ONLY be killed by a dragon glass tipped bolt(I wonder if they'll build a giant crossbow such as was previously used against Dany's dragons) and millions of walkers.

I can't say I liked how they came to this point(a lot of clumsy unintelligent writing as of late), but we're in for a formidable battle now whereas before it sort of seemed like the war against the whites ONLY REALLY depended on her joining the fight against the Whites. I can't say igaf much about Cersei and her delusional BS over in King's Landing, she's unimportant for a bit I'll imagine, but that b!tch is tough though and smart so she may just live right down to the last ???

And I definitely see Jon riding that other dragon, it seems that each dragon is much more effective when it has a "general" on it's back guiding it fury tactically against threats for both protection and offensive maneuvers. It's been more than hinted at and now that one is done it's a sure bet of another rider imo.

I think Cersei has PTSD and has lost her future by means of various things, her time locked in a dungeon, her shaming, all of her sons being murdered. IMO there is no way she's pregnant, that is a classic move used by women for ages both in our world and theirs. It's a last ditch effort used only when they fear losing the only thing keeping her going ie. Jamie, without Jamie Cersei is a very sad and bitter woman with NOTHING to lose so yes she will sacrifice every human life that she can manage to string together to fight an unwinnable war until she either dies or takes her own life, she will not let herself be taken prisoner.

This is where I'm hoping Arya kills Cersei after Little Pecker, but I doubt they'll(writers) make me that happy. It would be a hard thing for her to top the Frey's killings I mean that was badass X infinity and she has no plans on forgetting ANY names on her list. I believe she believes it's her destiny and I reckon it truly is. Sansa may cause some trouble for her which is why I believe she kills Little Pecker and immediately sets off for K.L'ing for Cersei. If anything happens to Arya if she's killed off early for some reason I'll have a very hard time watching the rest, I do believe there will be a MAJOR character death in this season finale if not TWO, again just my opinion.

The Dragon is a wight, not a white walker. Wights can be killed with normal weapons.

I think Dany was a bit skeptical at first and only let him go because Tyrion talked her into it. Then after Tyrion told her that Jon Snow had an eye for her that got her panties wet and motivated her to go help him when he called for help. The dragon allow Snow to pet him also helped turn her heart as well.

Wight, white, wite, whatever way it's spelled I never read the books to ascertain the correct logography of the word. And btw I never mentioned the dragon other than it being killed and being on the other team so may wanna check your references on that bit.

Wights can't be killed because they're already dead man, they can be rendered useless with normal weapons, but it's the dragon glass that instantaneously disintegrates them.
