overall some pretty cool stuff happened. really not liking all this fast travel and teleportation. wish they would take however much time they need but i understand there are other forces at work probably forcing them to speed up...
i feel since episode 5, so these last 2 episodes, that you can really tell the writers are on their own now and don't have GRRM's book to follow. the show is suffering a bit from it..
Jamie and bronne BOTH surviving, escaping, and getting away scott free from Dannys attack...... i mean come on!?
in this episode.. Benjen so conveniently shows up to save Jon.... really? and they shouldn't have had Jon fall in the water. it would be pretty safe to assume he would've died almost instantly from the cold or hyperthermia. and why the hell didn't he just fend off 1 or 2 of the dead, then get the f*** on the back of that dragon rather than stand there fighting forever..... sigh
i feel stuff like that, show that the writers aren't as good on their own as opposed to having the book to follow.
however, still exciting, still great stuff! love the show

oh and i forgot about Arya.. what the hell is her problem?? the writers just changed her into somebody completely different. wtf. there's no way she would treat her own blood that way, or seriously think that sansa is only in it for herself. smh

It looks to me that Arya is regressing back into childhood, maybe trying to forget that she's killed dozens of people. At the inn she ate like a slob and ignored an old friend . Since getting back to Winterfell she's gone back to treating Sansa as "stupid big sister", and mainly gets a kick out of swordfights.

It seems the episode was as insultingly stupid as Battle Of The Bastards.

Great description. I felt EXACTLY the same way and brought up the same points after watching it last night.
Also, don't forget that what really got the 1000 walkers surrounding them in a circle for hours to finally engage on them was a rock landing five feet in front of them (not even the one that struck one in the jaw)...and just because Hound was bored...Real smart warrior he is. Nobody was even mad at him. Gendry was on his way to get Dany.
This show is sometimes written to appeal to the minds of 12 year olds.

I also think that Tyrion and Dany have changed into completely different people overnight too, in addition to Arya and Sansa.

the rock on ice showed the walkers that the ice after hours now is frozen and solid and could be walked on? so IT started to walk the others followed. Hound and others was freezing for who knows how long maybe he wanted to provoke em to stsrt fighting and warm up cause walking fighting sex.. that what keeps you warm behind the wall :) jaime and brone survived unrealisticaly realistic i dont see problem there considering its a show and they are both amazing characters. oh btw about arya.. i always hated her but now i understand her.. if not for sansa arya would had her childhood in winterfell and not in hell..
