Discuss Game of Thrones

..a little bit because of the hack and leaks.

Seriously, by the time it comes out, too many people will already know the big twists and end. too many already know now.

It really is going to ruin it for many people.

I admit the other night I was curious and briefly read just a few of the story lines for the end of 7 and first ep of 8. Once the show starts, you do sort of forget about the spoilers and the show is still enjoyable, but obviously not as much as if you didn't know. I made sure not to think much about it, and even questioned it, just to give me hope at disbelieving or forgetting what I read. Obviously, some is hard to forget..

But once S8 starts, I definitely wouldn't want to know how it ends, who lives, who dies, how, etc.

I don't think spoilers matter. Why would they ruin it? They don't keep anyone from watching. I always know spoilers, but I still watch.

It's still good to watch it translate to the camera, but I want to be shocked in season 8. I've been fairly sure one character was going to die soon so that's one thing, but in season 8 with all the top characters alive, I wouldnt want to know who dies, by whom, or how. Or how it ultimately ends.

Littlefinger dies. OOPS, spoiler alert!

The whole of Season 7 was leaked in October last year. Up to now, and apart from often faulty mapping of the leaks to episode numbers, the information has been fully accurate. Anyone who cares to look knows what's coming. Did it ruin it for everyone?

8 is the end. The end.

Yes, well, we already know how it ends: http://imgur.com/2d21lHY

Even if they did rewrite season 8, that would immediately leak as well. Spoilers always do leak, no matter how careful they try to be.

Who doesn't know that? I've known that since Season 1 Episode 5 about. I'm surprised he lasted this long. Once I knew Arya was going to Winterfell and saw her seal the deal with the look she gave him, I knew it was time.

But did you know that Sansa sentences him to death in front of all the lords? Or how Bran confirmed all the shit he did to Starks? Or how Arya slits his throat to much of her enjoyment?

Actually, I predicted Arya would slit his throat a while back. It was pretty obvious based on her MO.

That was before I "glanced" at the leak.

As for the rest, sounds exciting! Awesome!

But did YOU know Arya wears Sansa's face and pretends to be her at the wedding between them when she does it? :) At least that's what one of the leaks claimed.

I think a poetic end would be a cockroach wandering around after everyone and everything is annihilated.

I personally hate leaks and spoilers, even if they're only tiny details. Anticipating something to happen on your favorite show isn't as fun as being surprised. It's annoying when other people think they're cool for knowing what's going to happen, and they want to share it to the world. Not cool. Spoil it for yourself, not others.

This is what people have been doing. In spite of the information having been available for months, it has mostly remained hidden behind explicit warnings. Apart from the occasional turd, like that komrad in this very thread, those who wanted the information have been respectful of those who didn't.
