I also don't get why everyone keeps saying Daenerys needs to tone it down a notch (Tyrion, and now Jon). She lost all her allies! They just want her to lay siege on King's Landing and wait for Cersei to surrender (when they eventuslly run out of food). Takes too much time in my opinion. Enough time for Cersei to think of another devastating blow equivalent to the madness she pulled in S6. The only language Cersei understands is being blown up herself (enter Drogon et al), only then MAY she surrender. But even then she wd probably kill herself first. Someone explain it to me please.

I don't get that either. It's clear Cersei won't hold back! She'd kill everyone in Westeros if she had to. If Dany doesn't take some action, her forces will be whittled away bit by bit because she is trying to be merciful.

No way. I wish she would've attacked much sooner. Maybe they don't want to see Jaime die because his demise is now staged.

I thought the point was to not destroy the whole populace. They want her to be surgical so the conquered lands' peasants will accept her as their Queen, not a Tyrant, like her father.
