I supposed this could be a possibility and Jamie might even be safer being her prisoner instead of being thrown out there to carry out Cersei's plans to hang on to power. He barely avoided being roasted by a dragon.

Plus we would get to see him reunited with Tyrion that would lead to some interesting discussions: Why are you supporting Cersei? Why are serving Daenerys? How is Bronn doing? (Maybe Bronn is captured along with Jamie, that would be fun talk among those three) Hey, guess who actually poisoned Joffrey?

Considering the look on Tyrion's face seeing the Lannister men killed he may be having second thoughts about serving while Jamie may be questioning if its wise to support Cersei.
