Discuss Game of Thrones

I was just informed that Admiral Urine Grey joy , has a magic horn that can subdue dragons?????

Apparently he picked it up in his epic trips around the 14 seas!!!

Could this series couldn't get any worse.

It's true. He gave it to Victarion. Seems the horn was omitted from the show. What's the big deal? Why are you so stunned?

The horn clearly has some supernatural properties (its effect on the man who used it), but whether it can actually bind dragons... it has yet to be seen.

Oh damn...hope they don't add that into the show.

The article refers to dragon horns in general. It does not necessarily mean that the specific horn, which Euron gave Victarion, can actually bind dragon(s). It can be worthless, just as Asha said.

There's also a horn in the books that destroy the wall when you blow in it. Mance Rayder acquired it but never used it. I'm still wondering if that will ever appear on the show.

they seem to be ignoring a lot of Euron's book character. ie: no one is mentioning why he looks so young.

Mance Rayder did not acquire it. The horn he showed Jon, and later destroyed by Melisandre, was not the real Horn of Winter - Tormund revealed that to Jon.

Anyway, there is no evidence the horn can destroy the Wall, just because Mance and Ygritte said that. According to the legend, Jormaun used it to wake giants, not to destroy any building.
