Who would you pick as the one most deserving to rule?
Danaerys has the ambition and dragon blood, but I don't see her making a good ruler. She's my favorite character.
Tyrion definitely has the qualifications and political awareness.
All the Lannisters are too corrupt as is Baelish.
I think Jon Snow would make the best heir to the throne at this point. Arys would, but she has too much of a thirst for violence and can be a little mad like that.
But I want to see Danaerys win.

Little smithy boy Gendry 😊 I don't even know if he's going to make a re-appearance, I hope so. I know he's just a bastard but there must be a reason to why Melisandre told him other than to gain his trust. I'm not saying he deserves the throne, but I'm imagining this huge buildup between the major contestants, and then in the second last episode, Gendry just walks in and says hey, ask Bran. I'm the rightful King.

But Gendry wouldn't be the rightful king. For one thing, he is Robert's bastard and not a legitimate heir. But even if he was (legitimate), Robert wasn't really the rightful king either. He basically won the throne by right of conquest.
The one with the best claim is probably Jon (provided he turns out to be legitimate). But- everything will depend on who wins!

You forgot to add Sansa as and option. I like your analysis though.

I'd like to see one of the stark girls on the iron throne but I doubt it will happen...

Mirabel, You just said ceizing the throne via conquest isn't a valid claim and therefore you discredited Robert and Gendry. But then you suggested Jon. Well, even if Jon turns out to be Rhaegar's true born son and no bastard he still wouldnt qualify because Rahegar has no claim either bases on your own argument. His father Aegon alao won the throne via conquest too.
Here was your response.. But Gendry wouldn't be the rightful king. For one thing, he is Robert's ******* and not a legitimate heir. But even if he was (legitimate), Robert wasn't really the rightful king either. He basically won the throne by right of conquest.

Oh honestly. This show and the books have thrown legitimacy right out the window at this point. There are (including one spoiler free character bookwise) three people who have a claim and seriously, it'll be whichever one or o es come out on top.
Heck, Aegon the first ruled as a triad, maybe that'd what we are looking at.

No, because there was no ruler of the seven kingdoms before Aegon. He basically created the concept. The kingdoms were all individual. So only Targaryens ever held the Iron Throne. Even Robert bolstered his claim by maintaining he had the most Targaryen blood. So, someone with more Targaryen blood would have a better right.
However, that won't really matter in the end. The person who wins the Iron Throne will take it by conquest. But to win, a candidate needs support.
What support does Gendry have? None that I can see. That's why I discounted him. (Also, illegitimacy carried a huge stigma in Westeros.)
Jon could overcome that because the Northern lords wanted him to lead anyway. But that was in spite of his birth, not because of it. But it all depends on who wins.

Deserves or is entitled to? The answer would be different. Entitled would be any remaining legitimate Baratheon heirs. I don't know if there are any qualified, I am not current on the series. Deserving, that is more difficult. If the question is who is most qualified, and potential to be a good ruler, it could be any of the top three candidates of Jon, Danny and Tyrion. All have held leadership positions and done reasonably well. I like the ruling triad idea.

Cersei, her planning and schemes are excellent and she didn't even have dragons to help her.
