Gone?? Is that what we saw at the end? Her entire navy wiped out by the mad uncle of the iron born queen? Wow he must have had his men work triple shifts to build so many big ships in such a short period of time!
And where were the iron born queen and the Spanish murdering sisters off to? Yes I saw the scene with the planning of the downfall of the Lannisters, but where this fleet was going I am not clear. What exactly was lost? Were the unsullied (doubt it) on board? How big of a loss is this?

I believe it was only the Ironborns and their ships. They were on their way to Dorne to rally the Dornish army, so they at least weren't wiped out. I have no idea who leads in Dorne in the absence of the Sand Snakes though, and if they care enough about them to fight for them. The story line in Dorne is a mess.
The Unsullied I believe are still on Dragonstone along with the Dothraki and are preparing to attack Casterly Rock.

I was confused by this as well. I don't think we have any firm idea what the population of the Iron Islands are or what kind resources (especially timber) they have but its real easy to get the impression that Euron got the ships built awfully fast. On the other hand, Euron probably already had a fleet to begin with so maybe he really didn't need to build that many ships.
How big of a loss is this? It's gotta hurt. Dany needs ships to land her forces on the Westoros mainland though maybe she already this? From the preview clips that are available we know the Unsullied will engage the Lannister army. But I have no idea where the Dothraki are at the moment.

If the unsullied were on board, they would have slaughtered Euron's group. So would the Dothraki, unless they were suffering from seasickness again. I think it was just the Ironborn there with the Sand Snakes as passengers.

"Yes, the whole scene was stupid, like the idea that 1,000 ships can be built so quickly,"
Maybe there's a genuine mystery there; that Euron has help that we don't know about. Maybe the Iron Bank?

They were on their way to dorn and the unsullied were not on the ships because they were heading to castlely Rock.

Maybe some of the lannisters were sent to help him?

"Maybe some of the lannisters were sent to help him?"
No, he bragged about his fleet BEFORE approaching Cersei for the first time.

Keep in mind that Theon and Yara only had time to steal 100 ships; the rest came from the slavers of Mereen. They were heading to Dorne to rally the Dornish army and bring them to King's Landing, so the army is still intact, (though I'm uncertain who rules Dorne now that Ellaria Sand is a prisoner).

Well Ellaria being a prisoner of the mad Iron Born may be enough to rally them and whomever is in charge now. But this is a distraction... having to fight the Iron Born under his commabnd and then finally get to Kings Landing. It is dragging the whole thing out, like the white walkers who have been coming since season one. My guess is we won't see King's Landing attacked till MAYBE the end of this season (with Jon Snow joining Dany in exchange for her joining him against the white walkers - if we have that much time but as I said the walkers have been "walking" since season one so... And then the final season will be all about defeating the white walkers with everyone on board, including Jamie who I think, along with Tyron, will be the last Lannisters standing

Good points. I liked Dany the best when she was rapidly working her way up in the earlier seasons. It looked like she would be ready to make a move and strike sooner, but they carried it out with her many setbacks. She kind of lost momentum.
You got me thinking..I'm starting to think the walkers may win the war and wipe them all out. Whoever lives will have to return to the far side of the world unless Dany's dragons can help them win.

I had a thought- Danys' ships are mostly gone. The Dornish army is stranded in Dorne .
But there's a fleet of fishing boats at White Harbor. So- what if they do a Dunkirk?

Anything is possible. I did not see last eps defeat of the Tyrell's coming nor Lady Tyrell's death confession that she killed Joffrey (always thought it was Littlerfinger). Anything can happen! But it is time now for Dany to pull a surprise since she has been out maneuvered now twice by Cerci. Maybe she'll realize it is not possible to defeat her without killing people and as every agrees a direct attack on King's Landing would result in a win for her... just death for the common people.
But it is the seat that matters, not the people. The people of Kings Landing have proven themselves to be fickle (as are all people). Throwing garbage at Cerci one moment and cheering her as regent next. Maybe they deserve a spot of dragon fire?

I'm starting to wonder if Dany should just say the hell with it and let her dragons burn down King's Landing with Cersei in it like what happened with Harrenhal. King's Landing seems to be largely a cesspool of corruption and most of the power against her is there in King's Landing. Make Cersei the Queen of Ashes.

These losses (the Iron Born, Dorne, and Tyrell's) may force her hand. Cerci saw them coming as in knew their strategy which speaks of a possible spy in the works. That or she is just a great anticipator of her opponents actions. What did Littlefinger, in the fastest lesson in ruling I have ever heard anyone give another, say "Anticipate all outcomes that way you have seen it all before."

Maybe Dany - her dragons, the dothraki & jon snows armies should bogg off back across the narrow sea until the night king has swept Westeros clean....then return and retake the kingdom ...or just leave them to rot.
