[possible SPOILERS]
I haven't read the books so I can't corroborate with those... It seems many people think there will be 3 dragon riders. I've seen Daenerys, Tyrion, Jon, and even Bran mentioned. The show has obviously set up a battle between Daenerys and Cersei, but what if Cersei was one of the riders? Two enemies coming together to fight a common and greater threat. Would that twist work? What do you think?

I don't think that will happen. I think Cersei unintentionally paved the way for Daenerys to conquer large parts of Westeros. (But I have to admit, it's been a while since I saw the last episodes.) Still not sure whether Ice and Fire refers to Jon and Daenerys, or to the white walkers and mankind. I don't think Cersei will live to see the demise of Westeros. I think she'll be killed before that. Is Cersei even aware of the threats hanging over her head? I can't remember.
Edit: It should have been Ice and Fire. I always get them the wrong way round. Blasphemy!

I think she was aware of some. I'm pretty sure they have been mentioned to leadership in King's Landing in the past. However, I don't think anyone took it too seriously. I don't know if Cersei was present for the information though. It's been a while and I'm not too sure. Also, all the battling in Westeros has probably covered that candle of information so what little was possibly known may have been practically forgotten.

She was present but never believed what varys told them or took it seriously. There's a scene in season 4 or3 where the small council is discussing daenerys, her dragons, army, and barristan & jorah where basically dismisses all the information varys is giving them. Tywin also tells her how stupid it was of her to get rid of barristan.
I'm in the middle of rewatching game of thrones or else I wouldn't remember a lot of shit that happened.

Possible SPOILERS....
I've read the books, here is my theory on this. No, I don't think Cersei will be the third. In the books, there is a character that is allegedly the son of Rhaeger (not Jon), that is still alive. The infants were switched by Vaerys and the true son of Rhaegar was not killed by the Mountain, but instead taken into hiding for his safety. This character has not been introduced into the show, so I'm not sure if he is of any importance. If in fact he is the blood son of Rhaeger he is the third head to the three headed dragon of the Targaryen sigil. However, if the plots that got leaked about the show are true, than the Nights king will kill one of the dragons and rise him to be a wight, riding him himself. Leaving two dragons, for Dany and Jon.
