According to Liam Cunningham a.k.a Davos Seaworth, season 7 of Game of Thrones will premiere in July.

Yeah, they announced the late premiere date at the end of Season 6. They released all of the bad news at the same time (the shorter final seasons and the late premiere date).

who cares?

When is WoW being published??????!!!!!!!

LOL

That last article I read said it would be out in 2017...we'll see. lol

I'm more concerned about a release date for The Winds of Winter.

GRRM is the biggest cock tease in publishing.

Too bad we cannot lock George in a room with his computer, and tell him he's not allowed to come back out until the book is finished. He has far too many distractions in his life!!! I know from interviews, that when J. K. Rowling was writing the last Harry Potter book, she locked herself in a hotel room, away from everything so she could just write, maybe that's what we need to do to George, "kidnap" him, and lock him in a hotel room, until the books are finished!!!

I'm happy to wait until July if it means that it's going to be amazing, breath stealing and ground breaking. I hope it blows my mind.

Please don't put JKR in the same sentence as GRRM............ its a very grave insult to George........

and JKR rushing her books resulted in a sub-standard series, with many flaws and issues, and promises made to fans and then broken

My theories are:

  1. GRRM is going to release books 6 and 7 simultaneously
  2. HBO is going to release a theatrical film for the climax of the series and Book 6 will come out after next season, and Book 7 inbetween the final tv season and the film - which would be a 2-3 year gap.

How fast can GRRM move? Would he need to be 'hobbled' to keep him in the room or is he easily tracked down if he wanders off, like most old people? I'd hate to break his ankles needlessly!

I thought George said that A Dream of Spring wouldn't be out before the final season?

I'm very curious with what he has planned for Jon and Tyrion.

@irishpisano

I don't think J.K. Rowling rushed her books at all, I think she just set goals for herself, and didn't let herself become distracted from them; George on the other hand has far too many projects, and distractions for his own good. He NEEDS a bubble with only a comfy seat, his computer, and some food; AND he needs to set firm goal for himself, and stop with all the distractions. He's just damn lucky he's a genius writer, anything less, and a whole lot of fans would have walked long ago!!!
