Which boards did you frequently check at IMDB?

I like GOT during the season, twighlight zone (the original), man in the high castle, last man standing, south park.... how about you?

Well I check GOT, The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, The Young Pope, Orphan Black, Westworld, Humans, Into the Badlands, and Z Nation. I also used to check the IMDB boards after I watched a new movie to see what other people thought about it. I'm really gonna miss IMDB, but I'm hoping this site will get some more traffic and be just as good as IMDB.

Good point, I always went to IMDB to check the boards after a new movie. I've got my fingers crossed that this site takes off seeing as it's the only site I was able to find with distinct, easy to find categories for everything.

Hey Pandora, I watch all those shows too except Z Nation. The Young Pope I have on my dvr, but haven't watched it yet.

Hey tipsy...you have good taste in shows. I have really been enjoying The Young Pope. It's a political intrigue/artsy show with a European splash. Let me know if you enjoy it.

Z Nation is my fun show. It's a laid back show that doesn't take itself too seriously. Way different than TWD.

Hey Pandora...we've already interacted just a bit. I'm a IMDB refugee as well. Hope more end up here too. I think this is the only viable site to discuss GoT in the same way it was discussed on IMDB.

Hello there....I'm hoping that more end up here as well, except I don't want the trolls from the IMDB GOT board. I'll be here to have in depth discussions on season 7 of GOT. We may see an increase in people after the IMDB boards close. I have been plugging this site on quite a few boards over there. It seems like a lot of people are migrating to the GOT board Wiseau (sp?) created. While the board seems ok, I cannot access it on my work computer. It also only has a board for GOT and TWD, and I like to discuss movies and other tv shows.

I signed up on the GoT board too. They set up polls to add boards for other shows, but haven't added any other than GoT and Walking Dead. I don't really understand the point of doing polls to add boards for specific shows, instead of just adding them from the start. I started a couple threads in their "current shows" section, but there isn't much of a conversation going on. I don't know, maybe when they add other boards for shows, it'll pick up. For now everything is just being posted in the GoT board and it's getting cluttered with a bunch of off topic posts.

I don't see sites with forum-only designs working long-term because I'm betting most of the IMDB refugees would prefer something similar where they can look up movie/tv shows and actors/actresses. TMDB is the only one with an entire structure set up for this and a good amount of information already in place (that most people didn't even know about!)

That's what I loved about imdb. All the info on movies, TV show, cast, crew, bios and forums all in one place. I just discovered TMDB a few days ago, and love that there is all that info here as well. The forums here, from what I understand, are a new addition. This site will surely become more populated as more people from the imdb forums migrate over.

Amen to that! I rarely posted there "off season" due to the board's toxicity.

I never really posted on IMDb moreso was a reader of the forums and all with an occasional post, but I have faith that'll change with this :)

Same here. I did more reading than posting on IMDB. I'm trying to post more on this site in order to contribute to the boards.
