For as little as it took to get whacked in this show, you'd think Tony would have whacked Janice early on.
But then Tony was spineless when it came to his family. He laid down the law, hard and fast ground rules for Janice when she showed up, and she immediately began breaking them. For example, he told her never to mention his mother since she was dead to him. He repeated that rule to her at least a couple of times as she habitually broke the rule, and she never suffered any consequences.
Janice was a narcissistic pig, sacrificing others for her own desires. She should have been whacked.

I've watched the series at least five times and it took me a few to register that in Janice's wardrobe there's the thing about her trying to get Tony whacked, when she was with Richie. It's kind of weird they never reminded us of it later on, compared to the thing about Livia trying to get her own son killed.
