This make sense when a show is always (or almost always) made up of two parts like Paw Patrol. Typically these shows are 22 minutes long with roughly equal length segments. Those shows never have an overarching narrative and can be watched in any order. This show is not like that. So far the shows narrative is linear and you wouldn't watch it out of order.
At the end of the day I don't believe you are following the spirit of the rule by splitting this episode. The rule was made for a specific situation where episodes are often split up and re packaged for syndication. So far that's not something that would happen with this episode. First because all the other episodes can not be split and second because it wouldn't work narratively. Lastly it's a D+ original and may never see broadcast tv.

TMDB Mods just being stupid as usual! 😑
The fact that user input has zero influence over decisions is ridiculous! What's the point of having these discussions if a few mods can overrule a majority consensus from thier users.

Why do people have to insult the mods? You can express your disappointment with out being rude or name calling. Calling people names or insulting them is not going to help win them over.

Frustration? Lack of flexibility? I'm sure it is a myriad of reasons, and while I get where you are coming from. I can see their side as well.

I wouldn't want to say, but you only have 6 content problems on this series... and surprise on the same thing. Admit that you made a mistake, right?

I have to say this is a baffling decision and basing it on your "Kids TV Shows have to split if they contain two distinct episodes titles" is ridiculous. You can't treat this show like some normal kids cartoon that might air the parts seperately on network television. The show is only ever going to be on Disney+ which clearly shows this as one episode.
The simple fact is that X-Men 97 has 10 episodes, episode 4 will ALWAYS be one 27 minute episode that just happens to contain two stories within. I would also question the categorisation of "kids cartoon". Just because it is animated doesn't just mean it's "kids", this isn't Paw Patrol! Why would you not follow the creators provided clearly stated episode list/naming convention/season structure? All other information sources (e.g. IMDB, TVDB, etc) are correctly showing this as one episode, why does TMDB have to be so hard headed and just admit that the rules cannot be a one size fits all?

Well, there is still a consensus, will you correct your error quickly?

Come on mods, do the right thing you are in the wrong for this.

I don't think telling the mods they are wrong is helping anyone.
On the other hand, mods - I think you can agree that there have been some compelling arguments as to why this show does not follow the traditional split cartoon format that has been applied here. Can we get a definitive decision on this please?

Could any of the mods explain why Star Trek: Prodigy is able to skip from episode one to three, And this show has to have an extra episode added. This just doesn't make sense to me. For Prodigy the logic was Paramount released a combined first episode and then said what was next was episode 3. So TMDB strictly follows what Paramount had and now we have a series with out an episode two (to me this is ridiculous). For this show Disney clearly has 5 episodes, but TMDB is saying "Well, it doesn't really matter what the official website says..."

I guess this is the reason why content providers move to Gracenote and other reliable meta service providers. The rules sometimes seem arbitrary in that they were made for a different time. The rules are the rules and should be followed, i consistently finding myself switching between TMDB and TVDb meta-inputs due to these rules that no longer make sense in a digital age of streaming.

This is like how they're trying to split up Doctor Who, despite the fact the new series isn't really a new series but a continuation of previous seasons.

Lets stop all the comparisons please, they are not relevant to this report and not helping. Doctor Who and Star Trek Prodigy have VALID reasons as to why they are split and have skip episodes. If folks have issue with them then take their grievances to those threads.
The fundamental question which STILL needs a respond from a moderator is the one I posted in this thread after @raze464 gave us their reason for splitting these.
This specific question has so far been unanswered and has been ask by others subsequently. I see the main factor in appealing this episode split. I await a response.
