Season 5 of Camp Wannakiki premiered on June 6, 2023.

The fifth season of Camp Wannakiki was announced on April 5, 2022 via the show's Instagram account, with a post announcing live auditions would take place at the Austin International Drag Festival on April 23rd of that same year.

On May 10th, 2023, the cast of Season 5 was officially revealed on the show's Instagram page. The following day, a Youtube video was released introducing each contestant.

Season 6 of Camp Wannakiki premiered on July 11, 2024.
