It is well known that the eps were later shortened and given a Rod Serling intro to fit the Night Gallery format and so the TSS eps could have better rerun life. But the show is far more effective than most actual, regular, and original NG eps. There is more style to TSS than NG . Better direction. More effective. Sandra Dee the beautiful beach bunny Gidget from the hit 1959 film of the same name is in both shows.
