Back in early 1999, there was a comic strip - not sure which one, now - that had the main characters sitting on the living room sofa, I think it was, and the husband says something like, "So, it's 1999." The wife says "Yes, it is." And the husband says "Isn't Martin Landau supposed to be on the moon by now?"

Hey rooprect! As the story goes, I think I read somewhere they needed a date, and I can't remember if it was Barbara herself or Martin Landau, but one of them suggested Barbara's birthday as the date.
