The first two episodes of Season 2 were available on the night of Oct. 20.

Maybe in some time zone, but if you check Apple TV+ you will see they have October 21 as the date for episodes 1 and 2. I would consider that to be an authoritative source.

They were released on Oct. 20, 2022 at 9:00pm ET. I personally verified the release date.

They are released on the advertised date at 0h GMT, which mean the previous evening in the US. (This is a US series).
